    Wound Healing Tonic – Equine supports a normal immune response to mild discomfort experienced in the early stages when wounds are healing. Dosed orally reducing the need to touch sensitive areas.

    DOSING

    When to Dose

    Use where there are open wounds that need to heal. This remedy works well alongside our Mud & Rain and Sol Plus remedies when acute cases of Mud Fever, Rain Scald or sun burn need to be managed. Safe for all life stages but be cautious when giving to lactating mares as the tonic may boost milk production leading to engorgement.

    How to Dose

    Add this remedy to a piece of food, a treat or for more nervous horses, pump a dose on to your finger and dab the remedy onto the horses’ tongue, gum or lips. 

    90ml Pump Bottle

    Give 2 pumps onto the tongue, gums or lips, or on a piece of food that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple twice daily until healing is complete.

    90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

    Bottles are food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap. Great for dosing on the go.

    Jerry Can Dosing

    Water trough - add 25ml's - one capful or 1 Jerry Can pump - of remedy into the water trough every second day. Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

    Feed – add 12ml's - ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily.

    Dose until healing is complete.

    Our robust jerry cans are made from food grade plastic.

    So far so good but still early days

    Early days of use but I would say overall my horses skin seems healthier and coat is growing back well in places that have been rubbed raw from scratching. Another review to come further down the track =)

    It really works!

    Fabulous stuff. I started dosing twice a day for a sunburnt nose as my horse was not going to let me put creams on and it actually cleared up in a week! I kept her mask on but otherwise didn't do anything else except this tonic and the Sol Plus.

    I use a few hippo health products and this one is a must have in your kit!

    Wound healing for Mud Fever

    I use the wound healing tonic alongside the Photosensitivity for my horses chronic mud fever and it clears it up in a matter of only a few weeks. No need to pick off scabs or use any other creams or ointments. Excellent product
