Worked well
I’m so unbelievably amazed! My boy had ring worm on his face (picked it up from some cattle) and sure enough 6 weeks later….GONE. I couldn’t recommend this product enough. So cost effective, so easy to use what else could a gal ask for! Photos are 6 weeks apart exactly.
Have had an issue with the old boy. Was told it was ringworm. Tried creams to no avail. Was recommended this and I'm on week 4 and already seeing a change.
In horses, ringworm usually shows as small circular patches of hair loss, crusty or scaly skin and broken hairs, often where tack or rugs rub. It is sometimes called girth itch when it appears in the girth or saddle area. Read more on our blog
No. Despite the name, ringworm is not a worm or a parasite. It is a contagious fungal skin infection, commonly linked to Trichophyton fungi, that causes circular patches of hair loss, crusty skin and broken hairs.
Yes. Ringworm spreads easily through direct contact, shared gear and contaminated surfaces, and it can pass between animals and people. Good hygiene helps: clean and disinfect bedding, brushes, rugs and tack, and wash your hands after handling affected animals.
Skin health is closely tied to immune function. Younger horses, older horses and those under stress are more susceptible, which is why supporting the immune system is a key part of managing ringworm. It also spreads quickly through shared brushes, rugs, tack and fence rails in busy yards.
Yes. Ringworm Plus is formulated to support normal immune function and is safe to use alongside treatments prescribed by your vet, including topical creams. It is a natural support option, not a replacement for veterinary care.
Ringworm thrives in warm, damp conditions and its spores can survive in the environment for a long time. Keep bedding and living areas clean and dry, disinfect shared gear, and isolate affected animals where possible to help break the cycle.
This remedy won’t cause any adverse effects, but the ingredients will only activate when they come into contact with a mucous membrane such as the tongue, gums or lips.
Like all Hippo Health products, this product comes with a money back guarantee for anyone not pleased with the results.
