Remedies are dispensed either in a 90ml food grade aluminium bottle with a hygienic serum pump lid with over-cap or in food grade plastic jerry cans, sized 1 litre, 2 litre, 5 litres. The 5 litre jerry cans come with a free dispensing pump. The pump can also be bought separately for the smaller jerry cans.

* This remedy is not suitable for dosing via the water troughs.

90ml bottle = 230 doses

1 litre jerry can = 80 doses (1/2 capful per dose, on feed)

2 litre jerry can = 160 doses (1/2 capful per dose, on feed)

5 litre jerry can = 400 doses (1/2 capful or 1/2 pump per dose, on feed)

* This remedy has a different dosing regime from other Hippo products.

Dosage is one dose a week, for six weeks, then stop dosing.

A dose consists of either:

Pump Bottle: 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most horses love the sweet taste but if your horse is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.

Or, Jerry Can: 1/2 capful on feed, once a week for six weeks, then stop. Don't mix it through, just pour it over the top of the feed.
