Dosing with Pump Bottles
A dose consists of 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most horses love the sweet taste but if your horse is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.
How often should I dose with a pump bottle?
Give 2 pumps orally, twice a day until symptoms are gone, then reduce dosing to once a week to maintain.
Dosing with a Jerry Can
Water troughs – tip one capful (25ml) or 1 pump into the water trough every second day until thrush has gone, then one dose a week to maintain. This dose is based on a 500L water trough, adjust to suit.
Remedies are dispensed either in a 90ml food grade aluminium bottle with a hygienic serum pump lid with over-cap or in food grade plastic jerry cans, sized 1 litre, 2 litre, 5 litres. The 5 litre jerry cans come with a free dispensing pump. The pump can also be bought separately for the smaller jerry cans.
90ml bottle = 230 doses
1 litre jerry can = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily). *Maintenance dosing is once a week so product will last a lot longer.
2 litre jerry can = 160 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 80 days dosing on feed (twice daily). *Maintenance dosing is once a week so product will last a lot longer.
5 litre jerry can = 400 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 200 days dosing on feed (twice daily). *Maintenance dosing is once a week so product will last a lot longer.

I have found this product to be great. My mare has had front boots on due to laminitis and I was starting to worry about thrush, that telltale smell, we all know it. Within a few days her frogs looked beautiful & dry. No smell, and she wasn't objecting to me picking her feet out.
I don't normally leave reviews but have to rave about these 2 products I tried for my 2 mares who both had Seedy Toe and Thrush – ongoing for about a year and had tried traditional topical remedies. After a couple of months on your Thrush Plus and Healthy Hooves their feet are looking amazing and funnily enough I've noticed they aren't as foot sore walking on gravel either. Win win!!
We have a mare who often gets thrush and really doesn't like anything put on her feet to treat them as it seems to sting, so we tried thrush plus equine and haven't looked back, after initial dosing over 1 week we then just give her two pumps in her mouth when ridden, she loves the taste and it's worked wonders for the thrush....highly recommend this product.
The seasons in Victoria have all rolled into one and the wet, dry pattern has made it super bad for thrush. I've only ever had an occasional issue until this last year. After battling it for ages we are finally on top of it thanks to Thrush Plus :-)
