Spray Stop - Cats

$48

Spray Stop - Cats is professionally formulated to assist with a healthy immune response to territorial spraying of urine.

A cat that sprays on furnishings is an intolerable problem for even the most devoted cat owner.

The cat is acting on strong territorial urges, an almost primal need to mark their space and it is very hard to break this habit. Hippo’s Spray Stop formulation has been prescribed at our clinic for the past 8 years with great success. The sweet tasting natural drops are given twice daily for a week (more if needed) and by targeting the mental/emotional basis for this behaviour we usually see results by about day 5.

90ml bottle = 230 doses

This product can be continued long term.

A dose consists of 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most cats love the sweet taste but if your cat is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums.

Give 2 pumps in the mouth or on food, twice daily for a week, then stop dosing and monitor behaviour. Usually twice a day for a week is all that is needed but for some cats who are particularly territorial or anxious, they might need the dosing regime repeated from time to time, particularly if triggered by a stressful event such as a strange cat coming onto the property.

If you find there are persistent relapses of this behaviour then we recommend dosing once a week to maintain appropriate behaviour.
