TESTIMONIAL
"We used Fireworks Angel on our two horses over Guy Fawkes and it was wonderful, we have also used it successfully when there has been loud gunshots and thunderstorms." Gary and Raewyn Madden, NZ

TESTIMONIAL
“I have 3 horses and one of them, Dolly, is petrified of fireworks. Years ago she bolted through an electric fence, 2 steel gates and down a main road due to them being let off during the day – each year since she heavily pants, runs or if I hold her she thrashes around! This year, with your Fireworks Angel she was calm, no panting and no running. Yes she was looking but she held it together nicely. So thank you a million for making mine and Dolly’s life a lot easier! Hippo Health you rock!” Marlena Collett, Cambridge, NZ

"This stuff really made a difference to my horses. I put it in their water troughs whenever there were fireworks." Lynn Whiting, South Pacific Equestrian

When to Dose
Ideally, dose your horse's water trough in the morning when you expect fireworks, or a storm. This will require a jerry can.

If you have to dose at the last minute, you can give 1/2 a teaspoon on a piece of food or syringe 3 ml into their mouth. It takes about 20 minutes to kick in and then usually lasts for a couple of hours. If your horse is super stressed then they might need 2 doses about 15-20 mins apart.

When dosing with a 90ml pump bottle instead of a jerry can, give 2 pumps into the mouth an hour or so before the fireworks are expected and then a second dose about 15-20 mins later.

Dose Volumes:
Water troughs – tip one capful (25ml) or 1 pump into the water trough each day during fireworks season.  Each time your horse drinks from the treated trough, they receive a dose of the remedy and are self medicated during the night when you can't be with them.   *Dose volume is calculated for troughs up to 500 litres.

On Feed – tip ½ capful (12ml), or ½ pump, on to feed twice daily.

Into the mouth or on a treat - 90ml Pump bottle - 2 pumps equals one dose.

How Many Doses Per Container

Remedies are dispensed in food grade plastic jerry cans, sized 1 litre, 2 litre, 5 litres. The 5 litre jerry cans come with a free dispensing pump. The pump can also be bought separately for the smaller jerry cans.

1 litre jerry can = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

2 litre jerry can =160 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 80 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

5 litre jerry can =400 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 200 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

90ml pump bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Fireworks Angel Worked Well

I used Fireworks Angel on all 6 of my horses this year (2021) On Guy Fawkes night they were all a lot more settled and able to cope with the loud noises and bright skies. I was so relived to have found this product and will definitely be using it again.
