When to Dose

A horse’s liver performs more physiological functions than any other organ in their body, so it’s important to support normal, healthy liver and immune system function in horses of all ages. This remedy takes approximately 3 weeks to take effect.

How To Dose

Either use our handy pump bottle to dose directly into the mouth or on a treat, or use a Jerry Can to dose on feed or via the water trough. If dosing a lactating mare, adjust the dosing so that it doesn’t boost milk and cause engorging (If using a 90ml bottle, dose this remedy in bursts of 3 days on, 3 days off. If dosing with Jerry Can, only dose the water twice a week, every week). If your mare isn’t lactating, then this remedy can be used continuously, long term.

90ml Pump Bottle

Dose 2 pumps directly into the mouth, onto feed or a treat that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple twice daily. Continue for 6-8 weeks, then switch to a once a week maintenance dose long term.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.

Jerry Cans

Water Trough Dosing – add 25ml's – one capful or one pump - into the water trough every second day. Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

Feed Dosing – add ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily.

Daily for 6-8 weeks is usual, reducing to a maintenance dose of one dose a week long term.

1 litre = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).
