Great Product
My horse can be quite anxious around other horses and when ridden out. I recently started giving him Show Calm before riding, and I’m happy to say he’s now calmer, more focused, and genuinely seems like a happier horse. Great product!
Show Calm is a natural calming remedy for horses who get overwhelmed by loudspeakers, flapping flags, bunting and the unfamiliar surroundings of shows and big events.
A horse anxiety supplement that supports anxious or nervous horses so they can perform at their best.
Equestrian Competition and Racing safe (not swab-able).
Safe, non-toxic and 100% natural.
Note: The shape of the jerry cans may vary. Rest assured, the ordered volume is the exact same.
When To Dose
Show Calm is a supplement for horses that get nervous, anxious or stressed in busy, unfamiliar surroundings.
Dosing can start in the days and weeks before an event, or at the event itself using our handy 90ml pump bottle.
This remedy does not artificially enhance performance and is professionally formulated to be Competition and Racing safe (not swab-able).
Safe for long term use.
How To Dose
Start with a dose first thing in the morning, then repeat every couple of hours as needed. Most horses love the sweet taste, so when on the road, use our pump bottle to dose straight into the mouth, pump a dose onto your finger and dab onto the horse’s tongue, gum or lips, or add a dose to a treat or piece of food. This remedy is suitable for adding to a water bucket or trough. Reducing dosing frequency once the event is over will prevent desensitisation to the active ingredients.
90ml Pump Bottle
Start with 2 pumps directly onto the tongue, a piece of food that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple first thing in the morning. Repeat every 2 hours as needed.
90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose).
Bottles are food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.
Great for dosing on the go.

I was sceptical at first, but I stand corrected, I am pleasantly surprised!
My gelding gets very overwhelmed in new environments.
He is quite difficult to take out on a trail ride on his own. He can be very spooky, lacks focus and anxious. I had a bad experience with him and we stopped going out on our own.
I give him a dose when I catch him, and another just before I mount.
I got brave, we have now been on 4 trail rides on our own, I gave Show Calm 3 of those times. Whilst he still looks around, he actually calms down so much easier and his behaviour doesn't escalate. I found I was able to get his focus back on me.
The one time I didn't use this, I had to get off him.
I actually stopped his 'other brand' everyday calming supplement when I ordered this, just to see how effective it was. I am very impressed.
I'm going start giving 'Chilled Out Horse' as an everyday supplement in his feed.
I used it twice and had some result. Better than any other calming product I used.
We have used this product recently for calmness at events and also for a young horse having its first hot shoeing experience. It definitely promotes relaxation.
Found it a little tricky to pump into the horses mouth. May or may not have worked, not convinced it made a major difference in the horses behaviour.
Hi Amelia, thanks for your review. If it's easier you can always pump onto a little piece of carrot or apple (anything that wont absorb the remedy) and feed that. Or pop it on your finger and wipe on their gum. It just needs to touch the mucus membrane to be absorbed.
If you let us know how much and often you are dosing we can see if we can help it be more effective 😊🦛
Like all Hippo Health products, this product comes with a money back guarantee for anyone not pleased with the results.
This remedy won’t cause any adverse effects, but the ingredients will only activate when they come into contact with a mucous membrane such as the tongue, gums or lips.
