    Grass Mumps Plus – Equine is a natural remedy for horses with swollen parotid salivary glands due to sugar rich grass or pollen allergies. Given orally, Grass Mumps Plus supports a normal immune response to allergens.

    DOSING

    When to Dose

    Begin dosing if your horse develops soft painless swelling of the parotid salivary glands. Reduce dosing and then stop as symptoms resolve.  This remedy is safe for long term daily dosing as required.

    How to Dose

    Dose directly into the mouth or on a treat using our pump bottle, or add to feed or the water trough using one of our jerry cans. You can also pump a dose onto your finger and dab onto the horse’s tongue, gums or lips.

    90 ml Pump Bottle

    Give 2 pumps directly into the mouth, or on a treat that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple, three times a day for 4 days as a loading dose. Then reduce to twice daily dosing. As symptoms improve you can reduce the frequency of doses.

    90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

    Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.

    Jerry Can Dosing

    Water Trough – add 25ml's – one capful or one pump - into the water trough every second day for 2-3 weeks, reducing as symptoms ease. Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

    Feed Dosing – add ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily.

    Syringe Dosing - give 5mls directly into the mouth twice daily.

    This remedy is suitable for long term daily dosing.

    1 litre = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

    Our robust jerry cans are made from food grade plastic.

    It works!!!!

    I have 5 year old TB mare that is always getting severe lumps on her cheeks, had vets out & always told there’s nothing you can do ect, so decided to give it a go. I’m not consistent with it, I put it in the trough & some in her feed when they flare up & I honestly believe it works!

    Great product that works

    My mare used too get swollen glands and cheeks all year, seems to be hay /grass related but have tried different hays and is also on a bare paddock most frequently the time as she has EMS. Grass mumps really works, I dose her every second day along with other remedies and if I miss a day she puffs up again. Doesn't matter what time of year or season. In drought now in South Australia so no grass but just hay.

    Recommend this product and many more.

    The video is not very good, my horse is not a mule as she looks with the camera setting 😉

    I also mention other products , chilled out horse is the one I couldn't remember.

    Mumps begone…

    I checked it was an allergy by dosing with an antihistamine before I ordered. By the time the remedy arrived his parotid glands were sticking out beyond his cheek bones and he had swelling down over the Masseter muscles.

    Within 48 hours of dosing in the water trough not only had the swelling reduced but the lachrymation from both eyes he has been plagued with for several years (two different states!) had significantly reduced also.

    Adding 25mls (1oz) of remedy from our Jerry Can to a 500L (100-gallon) water trough every second day is enough to dose all of the animals that drink from that trough. With homeopathic remedies, the dilution ratio doesn’t have to be exact. The active ingredients disperse through the trough using the hydrogen particles in the water, so each animal gets a fresh dose every time they take a drink.
