    DOSING

    Please note: Cats or small dogs weighing under 8kg only need 1 pump orally per dose or 1-2 pumps into their water bowl. 

    Dose 2-3 pumps orally twice a day or 5 pumps into the water bowl daily for 3 weeks, then give dog or cat a hard chew stick to encourage the softened tartar to be scraped off - or use a toothbrush or similar. After the initial 3 weeks of dosing, you should then commence a regime of dosing your pet twice daily for one week a month as a maintenance programme. Where there exists a heavy build up of tartar, you may need to repeat the 3 weeks intensive regime more than once.

    Most pets love the sweet taste but if your pet is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.

    Wish I had found this sooner

    I purchased the BioPet Dental for my senior AmStaff who had bad teeth in her later years and inflamed gums due to bacteria from the teeth. Despite regular vet teeth cleaning, at 14yrs she was too old to undergo anesthesia. The treatment, in my opinion, helped make her comfortable up to her passing prior to Christmas 2025. I would not hesitate in recommending BioPet Dental to anyone who has a dog struggling with a buildup of tartar and unable to eat bones for whatever reason.

    Haven’t noticed any difference yet. My 3 mini dachshunds have been using for a while now but I haven’t noticed any change.

    Thanks for your review, hopefully you will see that they have less tartar build up soon. If you didn't already can you do another 3 weeks of twice daily dosing before dropping down to dosing one week of each month and let us know how they are looking in a months time. 😊🦛

    DENTAL HELP FOR MY CAT

    I have purchased Biopet Dental for my middle age cat as she refuses to eat raw bones, chicken frames like my other cat who has perfect teeth at 8 years old. She was getting quite a bit of acne around her chin and lips and was dribbling and had the start of gingavitis - I have been using the drops straight into her mouth for a few months now and she is no longer dribbling and her acne has almost cleared up. The colour of her teeth are looking a bit better also so I am very pleased with this product. I have purchased multiple Hippo products and found them to be excellent.

    Not working

    My dog has been on this bio dental since he had his teeth cleaned and I’m not impressed on how it’s working , his teeth look like they need to be cleaned again which I’m trying to avoid doing and it’s not even been 12 months since he had them done and also he has bad breath .

    Thanks for your review, can you please do 3 weeks of twice daily dosing and ensure they have a dental toy or something suitable to chew on to help clean the teeth and then let us know how you are getting on. Hopefully that will shift the tartar build up. 😊🦛

    Absolutely, this remedy is great for small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, pet mice and rats. Simply adjust the dosing to 1 pump per dose either on a treat, or into the water dish (1 pump per 200ml of water).
