When to Dose

Poultry experiencing an infestation of red mites or lice tend to have symptoms like ragged feathers, excessive itching, pale combs and decreased egg production.

How To Dose

This product is available in jerry cans for dosing via the water. This natural remedy takes 7-10 days for the repellent effect to take effect. It is suitable for long term dosing.

Jerry Can Dosing

Dose every other day in their drinking water with-

· 250L – 500L 25ml

· 125L-250L 12.5ml

· 80L- 125L 10ml

· 1L -80L 5ml

Our robust jerry cans are made from food grade plastic.

I was very skeptical

I was veryyyyyy very skeptical and scared to use this for my beloved Guinea fowls,Turkeys, Chickens and Peafowl. I googled each and every ingredient to make sure it was safe and asked Hippo Health a thousand questions and finally took the leap of faith. Before buying this I was dusting my birds with vitapet flea powder and soraying their coop every two weeks and they still weren't looking great. I wasn't happy with the powder exposure. Since using this they're looking good! I don't even know what they had because I never actually saw mites or lice on them, I suspect it was depluming mites. I'm still a bit worried about effects of long term use but Hippo Health have assured me the treatment is 100% safe. When I stopped using it for a week they started preening obsessively so I think it's safe to say this stuff really works and it's easy to use.
