When to Dose

Sheen Plus – Equine is a natural supplement that supports the growth of normal healthy hair during a horse’s 3 week growth cycle. We recommend dosing starts 4 weeks before your first show day. If there is damage to the hair or skin caused by parasites or fungal infections, these issues will need to be addressed using a different method or remedy. Significant deterioration in a horse’s hair quality can indicate an underlying health problem, so please consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns about your horse’s health. 

How to Dose

Add this remedy to a piece of food, a treat or for more nervous horses, pump a dose on to your finger and dab the remedy onto the horses’ tongue, gum or lips. 

90ml Pump Bottle

Give 2 pumps into the mouth or on a treat that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple twice a day for 2 months. Continue dosing once a week for maintenance. Effects seen after 3-4 weeks.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap. 

Jerry Can Dosing

Water Trough – add 25ml's – one capful or one pump - into the water trough every second day for 2 months. Continue dosing once a week for maintenance.  Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

Feed Dosing – add 12ml's - ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily for 2 months. Continue dosing once a week for maintenance.

1 litre = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).
