When to Dose

This natural oral remedy is particularly suited to poor doers and horses that are struggling to gain weight or have lost their natural sheen and lustre. Any sudden change in condition should always be taken seriously and assessed by your veterinarian.

How To Dose

Dose directly into the mouth using our pump bottle, add to feed, a treat or the water trough. For more nervous horses, pump a dose onto your finger and dab onto the horse’s tongue, gums or lips.

90ml Pump Bottle

Dose 2 pumps directly into the mouth twice daily or feed on treat that wont absorb it like carrot or apple. Once condition has improved, reduce dosing to once a week for maintenance.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.

Jerry Cans

Water Trough Dosing – add 25mls – one capful or one pump - into the water trough every second day. Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

Feed Dosing – add ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily.

Once condition has improved, then reduce dosing to once a week for maintenance.

1 litre = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

Bought this for my underweight warmblood mare who after a neglect situation really struggled to put on any weight and muscle. Had used hippo health before and decided to give the conditioning tonic a go and within a a month she was unrecognisable. Unfortunately didn’t have any before photos but she has put on so much weight and a gorgeous coat. Still a long way to go but off to an amazing start thanks to hippo health!

Yet again another fantastic product!!

Used this, Sol plus, chilled out horse and tick plus on a pony we got from the wild. After the 7 mile muster then hour float trip we weren’t even sure she would have the energy to carry on, she was hardly responsive and full of worms, it brings me so much joy to watch her buck and play in the paddock and call out and run to me when called. That’s hippo health! I’ve also let my vet know how fantastic your products are!

Absolutely great!

Our old boy (21yrs old) lost condition over the winter and struggles to eat due to missing teeth. Adding this conditioning tonic to his feed has made a huge difference! Still a work in progress but we are getting there!

Highly Recommend for Light Ponies!!🌟

Jaz is a lovely Sec B Welsh Pony I purchased 4 years ago. Prior to purchasing Condition Tonic I struggled to put weight on this lovely mare. She wasn't skinny, just not filling out as I expected.

I was septic about purchasing Conditioning Tonic as I didn't know anyone using it.

I started adding it to her water (along with her herd mates) and this season is the first time I feel like I could show this wonderful mare. She's filled out beautifully 😍.

This remedy won’t cause any adverse effects, but the ingredients will only activate when they come into contact with a mucous membrane such as the tongue, gums or lips.

Adding 25mls (1oz) of remedy from our Jerry Can to a 500L (100-gallon) water trough every second day is enough to dose all of the animals that drink from that trough. With homeopathic remedies, the dilution ratio doesn’t have to be exact. The active ingredients disperse through the trough using the hydrogen particles in the water, so each animal gets a fresh dose every time they take a drink. Regardless of how much – or little – water is in the trough, the potency of the remedy will be the same.
