Collapsed Trachea - Dogs

I have a 16 year old Bichon Frise, she is diabetic since 11 years old. She has always coughed because of the short trachea common to her breed. Recently, she stopped coughing and eating - not good for a diabetic or for a raw fed dog as all she would eat was junk food. It has been a battle and a worry as food is vital for the insulin. I thought I would lose her and even had a little coffin at the ready. I had been using another trachea support remedy, which I thought was doing the job. Recently, I thought I'd try the Hippo Health one that I have sitting here and after a few days, the cough came back which to me is a better indicator of tracheal health than the not coughing. Aside from that, she started eating bits of her nomral food again and so we were back to full shots of insulin. The only thing I noticed is that it made her drink more water at night time maybe because of the glycerine and we had a couple of accidents on the floor, so I switched back to the other remedy. Next day, we were back to not eating again. I realised then, that this remedy is superior and is the best thing I can use to deal with the problem and keep her around for a bit longer - so here we are, still ticking along and much happier than we were a couple of weeks ago. I just want to say thank you Hippo Health team, you guys and your remedies are absolutely incredible and many of us would be lost without you xox

its helping her she only has small goughs now but at 16 and a half not really expecting cure just ease of problem and looks like its helping..

This med sure seems to keep my dog's trachea condition in check.

I didn’t expect this product to cure my dog’s condition, but I was really hoping it might at least ease some of the symptoms from his collapsing trachea—and it actually has. Since using it, he’s coughing less often and for shorter periods, which has made a noticeable difference. He’s not losing his breath like he used to, and when he does cough, it doesn’t last nearly as long. I’m really happy with the improvement and will definitely continue purchasing this product!
