    DOSING

    When to Dose

    Colic should be treated as a veterinarian emergency. Our natural oral remedy can be used to support a normal immune response to the abdominal spasms of colic while you wait for your veterinarian to arrive.

    How To Dose

    Dose directly into the mouth using our pump bottle, or pump a dose onto your finger and dab onto the horse’s tongue, gums or lips

    This remedy is not suitable for dosing via the water trough.

    90ml Pump Bottle

    Give 2 pumps into the mouth every 30 minutes for 4 doses. Reduce dosage frequency to every 2-3 hours as condition improves.

    90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

    Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.

    Colic Aid

    This is one of the amazing products I've ever used! When my mare shows mild colic symptoms when she's been overeating on new hay I just have to give her 2-3 pumps and she feels better. But one time she colicked pretty badly, and I called the vet. My vet was pretty busy and unavailable for about three hours, so I gave my mare 2-3 pumps of Colic Aid every 20-30 minutes, and by the time my vet called me three hours later to see how my mare was, she was up and moving, and no longer needed the vet. This is a must have in any Equine First Aid kit.

    First Aid Staple

    I was very lucky to have this in the first aid kit when one of my horses recently had a major bout of colic. This really helped to calm him and take his mind off rolling while waiting for the vets!
