First Aid Plus - Equine is professionally formulated with safe, oral, non-toxic natural remedies to support a normal immune response to minor pain, swelling and inflammation that can occur with injuries to bone or soft tissue. First Aid Plus also supports wound healing.

First Aid Plus - Equine does not replace veterinary care and if your horse is in pain or suffering you must of course seek veterinary advice. First Aid Plus -Equine works well alongside veterinary medications and can be used concurrently.

Keep a bottle with you for everyday bumps and bruises and to have on hand for use in the event of an emergency, while waiting for veterinary assistance.

Pump Bottles A dose consists of 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most horses love the sweet taste but if your horse is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums. Dose: Give 2 pumps into the mouth or on a treat every half hour for 4 doses as a loading dose and then 3 times a day, reducing doses on improvement.   Jerry Cans Feed – tip ½ capful (12ml), or ½ pump on feed 2 times a day, OR syringe 5ml into the mouth 3 times a day.

    * Note - our Pump bottles are the most popular size for First Aid Plus because depending on the circumstances a stressed horse may not eat or drink, so dosing needs to be into the mouth.

We recommend only using this remedy when it is needed for first aid. If you are wanting long term relief for joint pain, or other chronic conditions please email us for advice on which products may suit your needs. Email: support@hippohealth.co.nz
