Anal Glands Plus for dogs is professionally formulated to assist with a normal immune response to inflamed and congested anal glands and associated discomfort.
A dose consists of 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most pets love the sweet taste but if your pet is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.
Acute Dosing: When your dog is experiencing symptoms of discomfort associated with his anal glands, such as scooting and/or constant licking of his perianal area, give a dose 3-4 times a day, until better, usually for 5 - 7 days. We recommend you also seek veterinary advice.
Maintenance: To help maintain healthy functioning anal glands, give one dose (2 pumps), twice a week, for example, each Saturday and Sunday.
