DOSING

When to Dose

This remedy can take 1-2 months for the effects on hoof quality to be seen, so dosing should start as soon as symptoms appear.

How To Dose

Dose straight into the mouth using our pump bottle, or add to a piece of food or a treat. Can also be added to the water trough to dose one or more horses. Dosing is more frequent for the first month, then reduce dosing to once a week for maintenance.

90ml Pump Bottle

Give 2 pumps directly into the mouth or on a treat that wont absorb it, like carrot or apple twice daily for one month, then reduce to one dose a week to maintain.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose)

Bottles are made from food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap.

Jerry Can Dosing

Water Trough – add 25ml's – one capful or one pump - into the water trough every second day for a month. Dose volume is calculated for a 500-litre water trough.

Feed Dosing – add ½ capful (12ml) or ½ pump - on to feed twice daily for a month.

Reduce dosing to once a week for maintenance.

1 litre = 80 days continuous cover via water troughs (dosing every second day) or 40 days dosing on feed (twice daily).

Finally resolved Mud Fever in horses

After an awful phase of mud fever which returned in the same foot after a good year or so off, I tried "Healthy Hooves" alongside anti fungal shampoo and then equine super goo. This was the first time that I add Healthy Hooves to the mix, and was beyond thrilled to get on top of the mud fever much quicker than expected. The horses are now on an ongoing maintenance/preventative dosage. Its unbelievable how such a tiny dose of natural ingredients can have such a huge impact !!!! Well done Healthy Hooves and Hippo Health.

Healthy hooves

It may be a bit early for the result, but Aly's cracked hoof and seedy toe and seem to be coming along nicely. To add to this he has an obcess whick blew out the Coronet right next to this crack, and that too is growing out well. I'm pleased so far.

I've used the 1 litre container of healthy hooves and my farrier commented on how good the frog looked lovely and clear. Definitely shown an improvement from previous trim. I would recommend this product to improve your horses hooves.
