Our Environmental Impact
We’re passionate about making 100% natural homeopathic remedies that are easy to use, gentle and free from artificial preservatives, additives and colours - but we’re equally committed to reducing our environmental impact. From using palm oil-free glycerine as the base for our remedies to partnering with carbon-conscious shipping programs, here’s how we’re aligning our business practices with our values – and yours.
Sourcing Our Ingredients
Our focus is always on sourcing the highest quality active ingredients for our remedies. While we’ll never compromise on quality, we also look for suppliers who are actively working to reduce their own environmental impact.
Why We Use Palm Oil-free Glycerine
Our commitment to keeping animals healthy and happy extends to those that live in rainforests. That’s why all the glycerine we use as a base for our remedies is certified palm oil-free. In fact, our supplier exclusively trades in palm oil-free. While this choice increases our costs slightly, we’re confident you’ll agree it’s a price worth paying.
Packaging Choices
We know packaging plays a significant role in reducing waste, so we’ve opted for materials that are sturdy, reusable, and recyclable.
Durable and Recyclable
Our aluminium pump bottles and food-grade plastic jerry cans protect remedies from sunlight, and are robust enough to survive the dents, dings and even bites from overly enthusiastic animals! Aluminium and plastic are both recyclable, but please check your local council guidelines before adding them to your curb side bin.
Reusable
Many customers repurpose our containers but we strongly recommend using hot soapy water to thoroughly clean them first.
Packaging for Shipping
To ensure our remedies arrive intact and leak-free, we use plastic packaging for shipping. While we’ve trialled plastic-free alternatives, none have met our standards for protection and affordability. For now, we use bubble wrap and sealed plastic bags, which can be recycled at soft plastic collection point in many areas.
Shipping
We know our customers often need remedies quickly, so we partner with DHL as our international logistics provider. Through their GoGreen program, we’re able to provide carbon neutral delivery, and monitor, manage and reduce the carbon emissions associated with shipping our products worldwide.

Caring for animals and caring for the planet go hand in hand, but we recognise there’s more to be done. We’re always looking for new ways to reduce our environmental impact without compromising on the quality of our remedies or the service we provide.
