    When To Dose

Mares Plus provides support for mares experiencing aggression, lethargy, lack of concentration or increased sensitivity to being groomed due to mood changes associated with normal hormonal cycling. A professionally formulated natural remedy suitable for long term use if dosing advice is followed.

    How To Dose

Dose the affected horse twice a day by adding Mares Plus to food, a treat or by administering directly into the mouth using our pump bottle or a syringe. Most horses enjoy the sweet taste, but if your mare is nervous about being dosed, put the dose on your finger and dab it onto their lips or gums.

    90ml Pump Bottle

Give 2 pumps onto the tongue, gums or lips, or on a piece of food twice daily for one week of every month. If symptoms are acute, dose hourly for up to 3 doses.

90 ml Pump Bottle = 230 doses (2 pumps per dose).

Bottles are food grade aluminium with a hygienic serum pump lid and over cap. Great for dosing on the go.

    Jerry Can Dosing</p>

Feed – add 12mls - ½ capful (12ml) or ½ jerry can pump - on to feed twice a day for one week of every month.

Water trough - 1 capful (25ml/1oz) into the water trough every second day for one week per month. Based on 500 litres (5 qt) of water.

Syringe -  1 teaspoon (5ml) of remedy – regardless of mare’s body weight -  into the mouth twice daily for one week of every month.

For acute symptoms, syringe dose 1 teaspoon (5ml) into the mouth hourly, up to 3 doses.
